Dan is certified by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has full GMC sub-specialty registration as well as being certified by the Intercollegiate Cosmetic Surgery Board.

Born and bred in Shropshire, Dan graduated with First Class Honours from the University of St Andrews, continued his general clinical training in Manchester where he qualified as a Doctor in 1999.
He started his Ophthalmology training in Scotland, continued in Newcastle and finished with an oculoplastic and orbital fellowship in the world-famous Vancouver Eye Care Center.
Dan is certified by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has full GMC sub-specialty registration as well as being certified by the Intercollegiate Cosmetic Surgery Board.
Dan is a senior Consultant Eye Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales with an active research portfolio and takes tertiary referrals from all over Wales and beyond. He also works at the Nuffield and Spire private hospitals with industry leading results in cataract and oculoplastic surgery.
Beyond his clinical work, Dan is dedicated to restoring sight in communities worldwide through his ongoing charity projects.
