Miss Bhavna Sharma is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon specialising in the care of the eyelids, tear ducts and surrounding facial tissues. She treats both functional and aesthetic concerns, including drooping or heavy eyelids, eyelid malposition, eyelid lesions, watery eyes and periocular ageing, alongside dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction and blepharitis.
Bhavna completed her specialist ophthalmic training in Wales and undertook advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at University Hospital Southampton. She has worked as a consultant at Basingstoke Hospital and Dorset County Hospital. Her practice combines precise surgical assessment with a holistic understanding of each patient’s eye health, facial balance, wellbeing and personal goals. She takes time to create a detailed, bespoke treatment plan for every patient and also has a special interest in non-surgical aesthetics and skin rejuvenation.

Bhavna is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon with specialist expertise in functional, reconstructive and aesthetic eyelid surgery. Following specialist ophthalmic training in Wales, she completed advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at University Hospital Southampton. Her experience includes the assessment and treatment of eyelid malposition, ptosis, periocular lesions and skin cancers, eyelid reconstruction, watery-eye disorders, facial nerve-related conditions and periocular ageing. She has also contributed to surgical education and received national and international recognition for clinical case presentations and excellence in teaching.
