Yes, you can have bilateral surgery, and this is done frequently these days. Not everyone is suitable for it, and I often find that most people prefer to have the operations a week or two apart, just to give time to make sure they’re happy with the first operation, the first lens, before we do the second one. But bilateral surgery is certainly possible.
