During your consultation with me I may perform various tests. At the initial consultation I often dilate people’s pupils to allow a better image and view of the optic nerve. This means that you may not be able to drive home afterwards. For follow-up visits we can often avoid this part of the process. It’s often best to check with us before you come to your appointment whether driving is allowed.
