There are a variety of different surgeons that perform blepharoplasty, and one of the main groups is a cosmetic surgeon. They will have expertise in both facial surgery, but surgery in other parts of the body, whereas an oculoplastic surgeon like myself has dedicated training in the eyelid region and solely performs eyelid surgery on a regular basis.
