Most of our patients will have chosen to have intravenous sedation. This makes you much more comfortable and relaxed during the procedure. It takes just a little while for that sedation to wear off, and of course, we’d like to make sure you are quite comfortable, you’ve had a cup of tea, and maybe something to eat before you go home. Whilst waiting, our Sapphire Eye Care nurse will go through the postoperative instructions, show you the drop form that we use to be absolutely certain you know when to put your drops in and how.
