Why should I see an oculoplastic surgeon for blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty surgery is an interesting operation because it’s performed by lots of different specialized surgeons. So general surgeons do it, plastic surgeons, ENT, maxillofacial. But for these surgeons, it’s only a small part of their practice. For an oculoplastic surgeon, we focus on eyelids, and we’ve had training in both eye surgery and plastic surgery. So I leave it up to you to decide whether you think an oculoplastic surgeon would be better, but I’m obviously biased.
