  I couldn’t bear sunlight. I couldn’t even bear the lights during the daytime on people’s cars. And the… watching TV, everything was blurred. Cataracts in both my eyes, which I was devastated. I couldn’t deal with it. They didn’t know how long I’d have to wait for the surgery. They didn’t know who was going to do it. By now, having months of worry I just didn’t know where to turn. So I looked up and researched and found the lovely Andy Luff and the Sapphire team. He was so caring and listened to me. And then he explained that I could have these lenses, that I would only need reading glasses for the tiny writing that you get saying the prescription. He explained every step of the way. No pain, nothing. Zero, nothing. And I noticed the sky was bluer. And the day went, you know, you’re frightened to mention it because you might be seeing things, but you’re not. They phoned me up to ask how I was. And then I went back and saw Andy a few weeks after, about seven weeks, I think, after the cataract surgery. And everything was fine. My eyes are better now than they was 10 years ago. I wish I’d had known Sapphire and Andy Luff before I put myself through the trauma of going down the national health route, which I did. And that was a big mistake. And this is why I cannot stress enough, if anybody has any eye problems, don’t read Dr. Google, just get onto Sapphire and put your eyes in their hands because you’re safe. You have to. Your eyes are the most treasured, precious things. And if somebody’s messing about with them, you want to make sure you’ve got the best. And I strongly, strongly, strongly believe and know that I got the best in Andy Luff and his wonderful team.
