Am I asleep during blepharoplasty?

Duration 0:34

So, for most of my blepharoplasties, I perform these with you actually wide awake, so under local anaesthetic as an outpatient procedure. So, that way it keeps it nice and convenient for you. You're probably only with us for a couple of hours that day at most, and allows you to get home and back to day-to-day things as quickly as possible. However, if you prefer a general anaesthetic, that's entirely possible.
