Lots of treatments are being investigated. The two main options for dry age-related macular degeneration treatment at the moment are anti-complement injections into the eye and photobiomodulation, often known as red light therapy, applied to the eye. Many people will often take high dose multivitamins and antioxidants following some of the evidence based on large US trials.
