When we perform eyelid surgery, we have to make small incisions in the delicate tissues around the eyelids, and I’m able to position those incisions in such a way that they are less visible to the eye by putting them in natural skin creases in the eyelid, and by careful surgical repair. Postoperatively, it is important to try and keep any bruising or swelling down, which may stretch the scars, and using a cold compress on a regular basis can help with that.
