It would be very unusual to need refractive lens exchange in the same eye more than once. Top-up procedures can be done often using a laser or sometimes a secondary lens implant, but these wouldn’t be referred to as refractive lens exchange procedures. It would be very rare to have to remove the original implant and certainly not an easy procedure.
