Refractive Lens Exchange
Can your eyesight deteriorate after lens replacement?
Duration 0:30
Transcript
Following lens replacement surgery, the refraction of the eye, the glasses requirement, would normally be very stable. Of course other things can happen, age-related problems in the eye, but also a fairly common problem with capsular thickening behind the lens implant. This is fairly easily fixed on an outpatient basis with a YAG laser capsulotomy.
